Leslie Garcia-Amaya is a Partnerships Lead for Gemini, Google’s conversational AI, leading go-to-market efforts for an industry that is expected to grow to 29.8 billion by 2028.
Prior to her current role, Leslie was the Ecosystem Partnerships Lead for the Google Assistant, installed on more than one billion devices from phones to smart displays. She managed relationships with CEO's across the digital assistant voice ecosystem and partnered with organizers of the top technology events in the world (CES, SXSW) to determine how and when to showcase Google Assistant's vision and product launches. She also led and executed the content strategy for VOICE Talks, a monthly webinar series presented by the Google Assistant, bringing developers, product leaders and marketers the latest developments in voice tech.
Leslie's prior roles in Product Partnerships at Google include leading the Global go-to-market strategy for the Meals and Finance verticals for the Google Assistant, where she partnered with global brands such as All Recipes and Food Network to power experiences that allow millions of users around the world to find and make their perfect recipe. She also led Identity partnerships, where she drove adoption of early-stage identity solutions, such as one-tap sign up for the Web, enabling millions of users to sign in to their favorite websites quickly without friction or passwords.
Prior to her roles in Product Partnerships, Leslie spent 12 years as an HR Leader at Fortune 100 companies in technology and Finance, including Google and American Express, as well as technology start-ups. In these roles she was responsible for executing the people strategy across a number of functions, including Marketing, Sales, Product and Engineering. She has expertise in talent management, organizational development, M&A, leadership and executive coaching.
Leslie has her MBA from NYU Stern and her BA in Psychology with Honors from Miami University of Ohio. She is a founding Board member of Women In Voice, a global non-profit organization with more than 20 chapters in 15 countries. She is also the Founder and Lead for the Women@ chapter of the Global Product Partnerships organization at Google. After working in New York City and San Francisco, she now lives in Carmel Valley, CA with her husband, their son Leonardo and two dogs.
